GuildMender Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information GuildMender may receive, process, store, and disclose while providing Discord community-management features.

Effective date: July 14, 2026

Information GuildMender handles

The information handled depends on the features enabled by a server owner or administrator. It may include:

Message content

GuildMender may inspect message content when a server enables features that require it, such as spam detection, counting and word games, progression, or ticket transcripts. Content is processed only as needed to perform those features. Moderation records, ticket notes, or generated transcripts may remain available to authorized server staff.

How information is used

Information is used to execute commands, apply server settings, manage roles and verification, operate moderation and ticket workflows, run games and engagement systems, deliver Twitch alerts, maintain audit records, prevent abuse, and diagnose service problems.

Legal basis and server responsibility

GuildMender processes information at the direction of Discord server owners and administrators who install and configure the bot. Those administrators are responsible for using GuildMender lawfully, informing their communities when required, choosing appropriate retention practices, and responding to member requests concerning server-controlled records.

Service providers and external platforms

GuildMender relies on service providers to operate. Information may be processed by:

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. GuildMender does not control how Discord users or server administrators separately use information visible to them.

Sharing and sale of information

GuildMender does not sell personal information. Information is disclosed only as needed to provide configured features, comply with applicable law, protect users and services, investigate abuse, or complete a business transition with appropriate safeguards and notice where required.

Retention

Configuration and feature records may be retained while GuildMender remains installed or while they are needed for the relevant feature, security, dispute resolution, backup, or legal obligation. Discord messages remain subject to Discord and server retention choices. Server administrators can remove many stored panels and feature records through GuildMender's management commands.

Security

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect stored information, including restricted service credentials and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and server administrators should grant GuildMender only the permissions needed for their chosen features.

Your choices and deletion requests

Server owners and administrators can disable features, remove the bot, delete managed panels, and request deletion of GuildMender-held server data. Individual members may ask their server's administrators about moderation, ticket, poll, giveaway, progression, or game records associated with that server.

For a GuildMender data-access or deletion request, email support@slothbloom.com with the relevant Discord user ID and server ID. Identity and authority may need to be verified before a request is completed. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

Children

GuildMender is not directed to children under 13. Discord server operators are responsible for following Discord's age requirements and any additional laws that apply to their communities.

International processing and policy changes

Information may be processed in countries where GuildMender and its providers operate. This policy may be updated as features, providers, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
