Overview

The Hidden Sloth Teleprompter is a free browser-based tool at slothbloom.com/teleprompter for cleaning up a rough script and reading it back in a distraction-free scrolling view. There is no sign-in, no user account, and no profile of any kind — this policy explains exactly what does and doesn't happen to your data.

No Accounts, No Stored Scripts

• The tool does not require or offer account creation or sign-in.
• Scripts you paste in are processed in your browser and are not saved to a database or associated with you.
• Reading-view settings (speed, font size, line height, mirror mode) are stored only in your own browser's local storage, on your device, and are never transmitted anywhere.

Script Formatting Requests

When you use the "Format Script" feature, your script text is sent to our server to apply formatting rules (grammar, spacing, punctuation cleanup) and is not logged or retained after the request completes. This currently runs as a local, non-AI cleanup process. If AI-assisted rewriting is enabled in the future, this page will be updated first, and script text submitted through that mode would be sent to Anthropic (the maker of Claude) for processing under Anthropic's own privacy policy. We do not sell script content to anyone, under any mode.

Basic Technical Data

Standard hosting infrastructure (Vercel) may briefly process technical request data such as IP address for routing and abuse prevention, consistent with normal web hosting operation. This is not used to build a profile of individual users.
